NES, part of ERD Waste Corporation, operates a treatment, storage and disposal facility permitted to receive and process chemical lab packs and blend fuels. Many lab pack drums are opened and unpacked for consolidation. NES performs bulking of compatible solids, both hazardous and non-hazardous, for off-site disposal. Bulk liquids are then blended with other compatible waste for off-site shipment to an ultimate disposal facility.
For waste streams to be accepted into the facility, the waste must be profiled by the generator, analyzed for required parameters, and formally accepted by the facility.
