The Keck 12 volt SP sampling pump features a progressing cavity pumping head capable of delivering 1.2 gpm at 10 feet of head and .3 gpm at 150 ft. The special pumping head allows finely grained material, such as silts and sands to pass through the pump without malfunction. Constructed of stainless steel and viton the 1.75 in OD Keck pump features variable flow controls to regulate the discharge rate down to EPA sampling rates of 100 ml per minute for low volume ground water sampling. Pump accessories include isolation packers for 2 or 4 inch wells, portable cable reels, teflon discharge hose and 12 volt power supplies. |

Performance Status:
The Keck SP sampling pump is considered the pump of choice by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the United States Geological Survey and has been used extensively at various EPA sites nationally.
Limitations:
The Keck SP sampling pump is limited to a depth of 150 ft due to the voltage loss across the power cable. Constructed of inert materials to resist volatile organic compounds, pump performance will be effected over a period of time due to pumping high concentrations of VOC's.
