Abstract:

Provides Library services to the general public and research staff at the National Health and Ecological Effects Research Laboratory. Current WED research programs address several broad areas: The ecological effects of airborne pollutants such as ozone; terrestrial and watershed ecology; wetland restoration; the ecological risks from the terrestrial release of bio-engineered organisms; coastal and estuarine ecology; the ecological effects of global climate change; stratospheric ozone depletion; and the loss of biological diversity. The Library collection reflects these subject areas.
