Environmental Resources Technology (ERTH) is a guide to published information on ecology, the environment, health and safety related to petroleum exploration, production and transportation, including descriptions of environmental-technology patents, government reports, conference papers, and journal articles. This database contains about 40,000 entries dating from 1965 to the present and is updated monthly. Coverage of published materials includes: oil spills; pipeline leaks; wildlife hazards; storage tank leaks; disposal well leaks; drilling waste disposal; disposal of tanker bilge; petroleum toxicity studies, health and safety, and other ecology and pollution issues.
How To Access The Data
The ERTH database can be accessed with a password and user name through Questel-ORBIT, via telnet, at http://www.questel.orbit.com. There is a sign up fee, a yearly fee, an hourly online access fee, and a printing fee for ORBIT.
ERTH includes Petroleum Abstracts (PA) accession numbers, and most cited documents can be ordered from the Petroleum Abstracts Document Delivery Service.
