The American Water Works Association (AWWA) is made up of individuals interested in providing the highest quality, safest drinking water possible. The AWWA is known for dedication to high industry standards, technology, and customer satisfaction. AWWA has developed 128 standards which cover hundreds of products and procedures to ensure the quality of waterworks products. These include standards on: Water Treatment; Pipe and Accessories; Meters; Pipe Installation; Plastic Pipe; Storage; Disinfection of Facilities; Service Lines; Pumping; and Plant Equipment. These standards are listed in the free annual AWWA Bookstore Catalog, which is available in printed format or online at the AWWA World Wide Web site. All standards are available for purchase from AWWA either individually, as an annual subscription service, or as a complete set. AWWA members receive a discount. |
