The National Institutes for Water Resources (NIWR) provides this bibliographic listing of their research products from the state Water Resources Research Institutes (WRRI), as developed by the Massachusetts Water Resources Research Center. These publications cover the time period 1984-1990, and are cross-referenced by state, author, type of publication, and subjects. This database listing includes WRRI reports (26%), articles in referenced journals (21%), conference proceedings (21%), dissertations (10%), books and book chapters (4%), and other publications (19%).
How To Access The Data
Users can browse this free online database alphabetically using a standard web browser (e.g. browse all publications beginning with the letter a, b, etc.). Users can also search this database by an individual year or by all years (1984-1990).
Searching is accomplished through the use of user-provided keywords which describe the type of publication, subject area, author's name, state, etc. The size of this database will typically require users to provide multiple keywords using the WIDEN and NARROW options (unless users are willing to look through hundreds of matches). Once a search has been performed, users can view the results and click on any title to view more information.
