Users can retrieve information for any of 1991 hazardous chemicals stored in this online database, based on a keyword search. Potential keywords include chemical names, formula and registry numbers (CAS, DOT, RTECS and EPA). The primary resources for this database include:
        • 1996 North American Emergency Response Guidebook NAERG96, 1996.
        • Hazardous Chemicals Data. NFPA 49, PC-49-94, 1994.
        • The Merck Index 11th edition, 1989.
