Heritage owns and operates four RCRA Part B permitted treatment, storage and disposal facilities, one environmental laboratory and one RCRA Part B permitted land disposal facility.
Their landfill in Putnam County, Indiana (IND980503890) is a RCRA Part B permitted land disposal facility, which received the 1996 EI Environmental Compliance Award. The facility is a secure, chemical monofill receiving only stabilized treatment residue from our Indianapolis treatment center. The stabilized treatment residue is not characteristically hazardous and meets the treatment standards for all applicable waste codes as specified at 40 CFR Part 268.
Heritage is a comprehensive waste management company which treats, recycles, and disposes of industrial waste; provides laboratory services; constructs and operates waste treatment facilities; transports various waste materials; and investigates and remediates contaminated properties. Heritage is a privately-held environmental company headquartered in Indianapolis since 1970.
