Abstract:

The Solvents and Environmental Services Division of Detrex Corporation is a full service vendor to industries
          which use solvents or generate industrial waste. Detrex products and services include:
        • Sale and delivery of virgin and reclaimed solvents
        • Transportation and disposal of all types of liquid and solid industrial wastes
        • Reclamation of waste solvents
        • Complete testing and laboratory services
        • Transportation services
        • On-site process technical services

          They provide customers with a total service package for the supply of equipment, cleaning chemistries (including
          solvent, aqueous, and semi-aqueous), and the management of industrial waste.

          Chlorinated and fluorinated solvents qualify for an EPA approved method of waste minimization through reclamation. The Solvents and Environmental Services Division operates nine Treatment, Storage, and Disposal (TSD) Facilities across the country. These fully licensed and insured facilities are equipped to process waste halogenated solvents into reusable products.

          At Detrex TSD's, all waste solvents are sampled and analyzed for composition and recoverable yield. After distillation,
          solvents are processed through a desiccating system to remove moisture before restabilization. Waste from this
          process is destroyed in the Supplemental Fuels Program, minimizing generator liability.

          Reclaimed solvents are available in drum, bulk, or truckload quantities.
